A Little “Red Boost” on Brickell

HOW DID I HEAR ABOUT “RED BOOST”?

To make a long story short, I started eating healthier recently.  I love to try new places, but didn’t want to go to a burger joint. I looked up on Yelp and found a Juice bar in the Brickell area.

AMBIANCE & CLEANLINESS  =   4 STARS

To be honest I didn’t know what to expect at all. I saw a few pictures on Yelp, but Red Boost only had a few reviews. Finding the place was a mission and parking was also a little difficult. On this food adventure my brother accompanied me. We actually parked at the Publix across the street. Turns out that Red Boost is actually inside a cycling and fitness shop called Red Bike. And Red Bike is located in the same building as the Mexican consulate. It is a little confusing at first, but when you visit just go the Mexican consulate, and you will find the juice bar
It’s a very nice place. Modern décor, clean and very new looking. I’ve never been to an equinox gym, but I kind of imagine a similar appearance and vibe. I was a little unsure if I was in the right place when I walked in, but once I saw the juice bar in back, I realized I was. We found it!

The building used to be a bank, and the bar is right in front of the vault. They actually use the vault as a storage room. I’ve never seen anything like that before, but I think it really adds to the appearance.

I chose to eat at the bar because I was talking to the owner, but you can also eat outside. They have a backyard garden/dining area. I didn’t take a close look, but I walked by. Looks nice

  SERVICE   =   5 STARS

Okay, let me say I might be a little biased because anytime the chef or owner takes interest in my visit and talks to me, I have a great time.(the creator of Red Boost) personally helped me pick out an acai bowl and even gave me a smoothly to try out. She is a registered dietitian, nutritionist, certified personal trainer and probably Wonder Woman undercover Lol. To say the least, she is well versed in all things health and fitness. She also knows her way around a blender!

She sat down and talked to my brother and I explaining their menu and all the health benefits. I think half the stuff Monica said went over my head, but I enjoyed learning. She actually gave me some good advice for my personal diet that I’m putting into practice now.

WOULD I GO BACK?

Yes I would. I had a great time and there is still so much to try on the menu.

Check them out if you’re in Brickell!
