MAN FOOD

HOW DID I HEAR ABOUT EL TORO LOCO CHURRASCARIA?
I heard about them because I used to drive by a food truck very similar to their style. Regrettably, I never tried it out when I had the chance. Scrolling through yelp, I came across El Toro Loco Churrascaria. It’s located right by my house – Dadeland mall — so I stopped by for lunch. I didn’t want to make that same mistake twice and miss out on a new food adventure.

SERVICE   =   4 STARS
El Toro Loco Churrascaria is obviously a food truck. However, they do have tables to sit and eat at. SCORE #1…  Also they take the food to you if you choose to eat there… I didn’t confirm, but I believe they also do delivery. Second SCORE!
There customer service was really friendly and helpful. The man that took my order was the manager — Daniel. Nice guy. He recommended their sample platter “Picada” which I ordered. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. It’s definitely not fast food, but everything was cooked fresh.  I can live with the wait.

TASTE & QUALITY   =  4.8 STARS
The “Picada” comes with 4 meats: Chorizo, Picanha, Lomo and Churrasco.
Before I start talking about each one, let me first say that I an easy to please with barbecued meat of all kinds. In the famous words of Rae Sremmurd, “I Ant Got No Type!”
So..
The picanha was probably my least favorite. It was good. Great quality meat. But pretty average. It didn’t stand out from the rest of the platter.
Now the Chorizo! OMG was that GOOOOOD. Honestly, y’all missing out. It had a lot of flavor yet it wasn’t greasy or fatty. Probably my favorite out of the four meats.
The Churrasco was thick and well-seasoned. It had a little charred barbeque flavor which was perfect.
Last but not least was Lomo. It had a hint of lime in the sausage which added the perfect touch to stand out from the rest. It was good.
I also got the two optional sides – rice and beans. It’s definitely worth it. Between the meat and sides, it was enough food for two people easy.
The overall bill with tip came out to be about $19. But considering the amount of food… it’s understandable for a food truck.

WOULD I GO BACK?
Most definitely YES! I already recommended it to my dad lol.

OVER ALL RATING  =  4.5
GREAT JOB!

I think it looks better in person than in the picture.
If you like meat, you’ll fall in love <3
